String Pianos

These pianos are all part of a new line of string pianos launched to coincide with Schoenhut’s 135th anniversary, which feature True Piano Sound … without the use of electronics. This line is not intended to replace Schoenhut’s vintage models that feature chime-like tones, such as those originally developed by Albert Schoenhut in 1872. Rather, the introduction is in response to requests from customers for a "new" sound.

The Schoenhut string pianos are fine musical instruments and therefore require special delivery considerations. All string pianos are delivered and set up by a professional piano mover at a flat rate of $500.

All string pianos require professional tuning, which typically runs about $100 - $200. Your new Schoenhut string piano is no exception. You may contact a professional piano tuner in your area or we can arrange this for you for a small additional fee, simply specify during the ordering process.
